Last Week Aylesbury College hosted the local finals for the ‘Future Chef’ national competition where 8000 children take part over the country.
Organised by Springboard, 12 children aged 12-16 from local schools competed at the College to win a place at the regional finals to be held in London in February. For most students it was their first time entering a national competition, and for all it was their first time working in an industrial kitchen.
Working against the clock, students had just 90 minutes to create 2 courses. The dishes were all presented beautifully, with Bea Sedden from Aylesbury High School chosen as the overall winner.
Congratulations to all students who participated!
